Playwright Spotlight | “Unfinished Business”

This contemporary drama of friendship, betrayal and forgiveness is set in Florida on the oldest existing African-American seacoast resort in the US. Against this backdrop, three middle-aged friends reunite after the death of Robert Fowler. Marie Fowler, Roberts wife, must decide to pursue her husbands dream of renovating The Haven, a beachfront property inherited from his grandfather, or sell it to developers. Weighed down with multiple financial and emotional challenges of maintaining the Haven, Marie asks her friends Claudia and Joy to assist with plans of selling. Claudia vigorously objects!
