 with Author Angie Ransome-Jones

DALLAS – (March 15, 2018) – Patrick “PK” Williams of the infamous Dallas Carter High School football team is proud to announce the upcoming release of his highly anticipated memoir “From a Letterman to a Better Man” in April 2018. Patrick “PK” Williams is a Dallas native and a graduate of Carter High School.  He currently works as a car salesman and has worked in the industry for the last 17 years. A proud member of Chosen Church in Dallas, Williams serves as an Assistant Pastor, is in the prison ministry and often mentors young men in the surrounding community. When he is not working and ministering, Williams is a co-host on an internet radio show called Preachers with Afflictions (PWA), which is a virtual ministry operating under the premise that no one is perfect, including pastors.  Williams is a husband of 24 years and a proud father to five children and four grandchildren.  He currently resides in Fate, Texas, with his family.

PK’s memoir chronicles his journey from “pedestal to prison” where he served 3 years, 4 months and 19 days, which is one of the chapters of the book. His story is one of redemption, humility and his quest to be a better man. While the story of the popular Carter High School football team has been replicated in both the blockbuster “Carter High” and the ESPN 30 for 30 “What Carter Lost”, PK’s memoir will share his personal journey not only as a star football player but more importantly his mission to be a better man. PK partnered with renowned author Angie Ransome-Jones to share his story, the dynamic duo graced the March cover of Southern Dallas magazine.
