A Cultuaral Commemoration – The Day Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Died – 50 years later

On April 4, 1968, America stood still in shock when the drum major for justice, DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel. At 6:01pm, the word of his passing swept across the world. In commemoration of his life’s work, TBAAL partners with 50 multi-denominations, pastors and ministers 50 years later to reflect on the man, his leadership and impact around the globe.
