DIRECTIONS TO THE BLACK ACADEMY OF ARTS AND LETTERS

FROM NORTH: (N. Dallas, Richardson, Plano) Take Central Expressway (U.S. 75) southbound to 1-30 West. Take the Ervay Street exit. Turn right on to Ervay. Go to the intersection of Ervay and Canton. Make a left on to Canton. Go to the intersection of Canton and Akard. TBAAL is on the northwest corner of that intersection.

FROM (North) TOLLWAY: Take Tollway southbound to 1-35 South. From 1-35 South take 1-30 East (Texarkana). Exit Lamar/Griffin Street. Stay on that service road until you reach the Cadiz/Griffin Street exit. Exit on Cadiz. At the intersection of Cadiz and Akard make a left on to Akard. The very next intersection will be Akard and Canton. TBAAL is on the northwest corner.

FROM WEST: DFW Airport, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Irving) lake Carpenter Freeway (I-183) to Stemmons Freeway (1-35) southbound. Take 1-30 East (Texarkana). Exit Lamar/Griffin Street. Stay on that service road until you reach the Cadiz/Griffin Street exit. Exit on Cadiz. At the intersection on Cadiz and Akard make a left on to Akard. The very next intersection will be Akard and Canton. TBAAL is on the northwest corner.

FROM WEST: (Arlington, Grand Prairie, Ft. Worth) Take 1-30 East (Texarkana). Exit Lamar/Griffin Street. Stay on that service road until you reach the Cadiz/Griffin Street exit. Exit on Cadiz. At the intersection of Cadiz and Akard make a left on to Akard. The very next intersection will be Akard and Canton. TBAAL is on the northwest corner.

FROM SOUTH: (Duncanville, DeSoto, Oak Cliff) Take I-35E northbound. Take 1-30 East. Exit Lamar/Griffin Street. Stay on that service road until you reach the Cadiz/Griffin Street exit. Exit on Cadiz. At the intersection of Cadiz and Akard make a left on to Akard. The very next intersection will be Akard and Canton. TBAAL is on the northwest corner.

FROM SOUTH: (Houston) Take S. M. Wright Frwy (Julius Schepps) 1-45 northbound. Take 1-30 West. Exit Ervay Street. Turn right on to Ervay. Go to the intersection of Ervay and Canton. Make a left on to Canton. Go to the intersection of Canton and Akard. TBAAL is on the northwest corner of the intersection.

FROM EAST: (Mesquite, Garland, Greenville). Take 1-30 West to Dallas. From the LEFT Lane of the freeway take the Ervay Street exit Turn right on to Ervay. Go to the intersection of Ervay and Canton. Make a left on to Canton. Go to the intersection of Canton and Akard. TBAAL is on the northwest corner of that intersection.
