For three consecutive years, this exhibition has told TBAAL’s story better than anyone. Seen by thousands of patrons and visitors, seldom does one get an opportunity to witness living history that’s memorable, informative, encouraging, chilling and educational. This exhibit chronicles the cultural and artistic contributions made by African American artists and scholars who have been and continues to be a part of TBAAL’s evolution. The vintage and contemporary photographs, film footage, institutional documents, oral histories, celebrity memorabilia and archival ephemera is a must see. It’s a great excursion for the family and youth.
