Gallery Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10am – 6pm
Saturday, Noon-4pm
James E. Kemp Gallery

By popular demand, this historical exhibition tells TBAAL's story better than anyone. Viewed by thousands of patrons and visitors, one sees rare photographs, film footage, institutional documents, oral histories, celebrity memorabilia and archival ephemera. This exhibition shows living history of an institution who continues to produce and preserve the life and work of a people who have suffered discrimination and degradation. It chronicles the cultural and artistic contributions made by African American artists and scholars who have and continue to support TBAAL's progress. Memorable, informative, encouraging, unnerving and educational, it's a must see exhibition revelation!
